So this blog post will be an ongoing work in progress, while making some blueberry muffins this morning I started coming up with a list of things to check when we are looking at houses. I’ll continually update and edit this list.

1. Bring a bag of popcorn and test the microwave. The best microwave I’ve ever owned (and still do, it’s just in the basement) can cook a bag in 2:00 minutes flat, with hardly a kernel unpopped. Our current microwave, an overhead above the stove, can’t do it in 4 minutes.
2. Fully extend every drawer, see if they fall out of their tracks.
3. Flush Every toilet, see if they stick, run forever, etc
4. Run every sink and shower, check for water pressure
5. Taste the drinking water
6. Open all the doors, see if they stay open as they should or close slowly (my current office door won’t stay open all the way)
7. Check air filter to see if it was changed recently
8. Tall shower heads, we're both tall 6'3" and 5'10", we don't need a dinky shower head.

I’ll definitely add more to this list over time!
